Important Note:Â If, when you try to start one of the
lessons, you get a new window with a red X in the upper left corner, it
probably means that you do not have the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed
on your computer.
You can download and install the JVM from http://java.com. Let me know if you need help. Pete (642-0389). Lesson 1 addresses signing on to
Google Apps as well as viewing, modifying and saving documents that have been
shared. Lesson 2 addresses creating documents
on line as well as uploading existing documents from your computer. Lesson 3 addresses creating
folders, sharing documents, and granting permissions. After users complete lessons 1, 2, and3,
they should be able to use Google Docs for productive collaboration. Future planned lessons include: Setting up Contact Lists,
Calendars and many other Google Apps features. If you feel comfortable with
experimenting and learning on your own, go for it! If you have questions or need help,
